Inhabiting a reverb drenched realm that feels like the depths of ones dreams, the combination of the intricate electric guitar playing of Alex Scally and the lush keyboards and the happily-haunting vocals of Victoria Legrand is known as Beach House. Recorded on their recent Australian tour highlighting their 24h of August show at Mojos Bar in Fremantle, their warming performance is highlighted with a discussion about the origin of their name and sound, the writing and recording of their second album Devotio

This episode features the sexy, new wave pop stylings of Sheffield five-piece The Long Blondes. Femme fatale vocalist Kate Jackson and drummer Screech Louder discuss the bands formation, the curious architecture of their hometown in England, and working with producer Steve Mackey of Pulp fame on their album Someone to Drive You Home. This interview and subsequent performance footage was recorded at the bands 7th of August 2007 performance at Club Capitol.

Can an experimental animator follow contemporary Hollywood logic? New ideas are out of fashion; everything's a trilogy. Laser-printed onto recycled 16mm film in 2015, Dingbat's Revenge is a coded, stroboscopic manifesto pitched somewhere between abstraction and representation. "Can you feel that? We're done here. Move out of the way or I'm gonna run you over." - Tony Stark. PART 1: https://vimeo.com/44368692 PART 2: https://vimeo.com/34548556

The psychedlic, folk and doom fusing sounds of Mink Mussel Creek feature in this week's episode. Purveyors of the chug, and fans of tobogganing, this young group have built up a huge home-town following during their time on the live scene. In this episode they discuss their eclectic mix of influences, their collective intuition for improvisation, and their two forays into recording; the first a split single with previous Radio Dingbat subjects Cease, and the upcoming sessions for their full-length album.
