After three months, over two hundred skaters, six competitions, four states and two countries; the Element Make It Count Australian Finals kicked off in Geelong, Victoria at The Park on Saturday 20th of August. As the rain poured down outside, the tricks rained down inside from finalists from all of the other Australian events. The stakes were high; a skate trip to Barcelona, Spain, and the skaters hucked themselves at the opportunity.

Everyone completely killed it, but in the end it was Noah Nayef who to

The fifth stop of the Element MAKE IT COUNT Contest Series just went down at the Familia HQ in Minneapolis, MN. Battling the cold weather, Kids came out from far and wide to compete for an all expenses paid trip to the MAKE IT COUNT finals at Element Skate Camp, and a trip to The Berrics with the Element team. There was so much ripping that it was impossible to decide a single winner, two tricks went down the rail in the final seconds; Cody Millet's tre flip 5050, and Dan Coe's back tail big flip, and they

The 2013 Element MAKE IT COUNT Finals proved to be the best yet. Event began as a bald eagle flew overhead, and finished with everyones jaw dropped from an incredible level of skating. Time Flies is a Advert by Allan Gray that portrays the importance of time and how time should be cherished. This advert was featured on TV in South Africa in 2011.
http://www.allangray.co.za/

At Allan Gray we have been focusing on long-term investing since 1974. Time is an essential ingredient to our investment philosophy. Our new advert is an extension of the theme of illustrating the benefits of time, which we began in 2008. Similar to our other adverts over the last few years, it takes the approach of not only focusing on Allan Gray, but on the investor as an integral part of our investment philosophy. This 90 second 'special edition' is slightly longer than the 60 or 70 second ad that will be flighting on TV.

One of the raddest things about the Element Make It Count Contest series is that there are contests all over the world, in search of the next undiscovered skate talent. This last week we held an event in South Africa. The level of skating out there is insane, and we had a great turnout with rippers showing up from far and wide. At the end of the day, it was obvious that one dude stood out among the rest; Allan Adams won himself an all expenses paid trip to Barcelona to skate street with the Element Team, an

The Element Make It Count Contest home-stretch was in full swing, as skatepark locals put their bodies on the line to win their respected stops. Once the carnage was clear Element selected finalists from Chicago and Denver, rewarding them with a free-trip to the North America Finals at Element YMCA Skate Camp to compete for an all-expenses paid trip to the Global Finals in Barcelona, Spain.

Here's the video from Make it Count Russia - everybody was ripping in Moscow! Congrats to Alexander Rybakov who won a place in at the European Finals in Berlin!

John Purcell starts things off with a switch frontside feeble, then Mikey Whitehouse shuffles a frontside boardslide body-varial to lipslide to shove it out, after that Simon Stricker does a bigspin frontside bluntslide to fake, and Chris Jameson finishes it off with a switch back lip. The video airs on August 17th, so stay tuned.

When each Make It Count Finalist is competing for an all-expenses paid trip to Barcelona, to film a street part and potentially land a spot on the Element Team, you better believe they're giving it everything they’ve got. But where would the North America Finals take place? At the Element YMCA Skate Camp in Sequoia National Park, the perfect breeding ground for gnarliness.
